The overall premise of this book wasn't one that I found very compelling initially, but it was recommended to me over and over again. The narrator and main character of this story is the family dog, Enzo. He loves his race car driver master, Denny, and consequently, loves the wife and child that come along later. I listened to this on audiobook though, and the reader, Christopher Evan Welch was phenomenal. I waffled between giving this a 4 or a 5, just because of Welch's reading, but finally decided on the 4. If you can listen to this, I highly recommend it.
