it was amazing
bookshelves: books-i-own, classic, adult-fiction
Read from September 07 to October 12, 2011

I love Hardy's poetic writing style so I quite enjoyed this book even though it seemed a bit slow compared to his other ones. However, the ending is powerful and I love Hardy's message to his audience.

Janet Ross Good luck with that one Taylor. I read it in H.S> and HATED IT!!! SOOOOOO depressing!

Taylor Thanks Aunt Janet. I've read a couple of Thomas Hardy books before...so I have an idea I'm in for something not happy. :) But I like Hardy so I have to read one of his most famous ones.

Janet Ross Really? You liked it? You must be pretty deep!

Taylor Well I hope I can appreciate classic literature after getting a BA in English! lol, and I've read far worse...
