3.5 stars.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the Fae story-line to begin with, though I did like Claudine and Claude and their drastic personality differences. Because of my indifference to the Fae (as Harris presents them), I'm glad that this book offers closure to that arc.

Sookie's belligerent attitude throughout most of the book irritated me. She's understandably upset about the events of the past few books. But rather than address the problems, she's acting like quite the shrew and I found myself rolling my eyes often.

Lots of questions left open for the next round, which I hope will include some Felipe del Castro!

Quotes The Flooze Liked

Charlaine Harris
“Don’t you just hate nights like that, when you think over every mistake you’ve made, every hurt you’ve received, every bit of meanness you’ve dealt out? There’s no profit in it, no point to it, and you need sleep.”
Charlaine Harris, Dead and Gone
