So far this is my favorite of the Pink series, though Willig says somewhere that it was a constant struggle to write. It shares with Pink II the marriage-before-denouement plot convention I favor, but I also think the overall plotting -- both of the espionage and the romance -- was much stronger. The further appearance of chaperone Gwen was highly entertaining, and Letty made for a winning, distinct heroine. The only real shortcomings were the odd intrustion of Geoff's cousin (particularly his conveniently sudden but inexplicable appearance at the end), and the odd business of Letty's friend from the boat. Overall, though, an entertaining read and light enough on the trash factor to ease most consciences.
