The US Navy conducts some experiments in the South Pacific, and unwittingly unleashes a "smart" storm that proceeds to hunt down the researchers and kill them. Pretty dated, but a good story nonetheless, and a very quick read at under 200 pages. The characters are well-thought-out, and the story is entertaining, moving at a good clip. Worth a visit.
