If you are willing to set aside preconceived notions of who should have a POV in a story, and suspend your disbelief, this sweet, tender, believable story seen through the eyes of Enzo, the dog-narrator, will carry you along to its bittersweet ending.

This is a story of family love and survival in the face of tragedy. A witness, not a player, Enzo tells the story with dignity and credibility.

If you like dogs, this one shouldn't be missed. It shouldn't be missed if you don't.
