really liked it

Lippman is a great mystery writer who entwines thoughts about larger questions such as "whose story is it?". I really liked the exploration of memory versus history. Also, Lippman begins to look at the questions of morality when writing about living people--issues of privacy, secrecy, and ownership of one's experiences. It was a quick read, but one that kept me thinking.
