After Balticon 2009, I've been interested in reading more on steampunk, and this was suggested reading at Wikipedia. To be honest, I don't know why. I read the first two stories, and while they weren't bad, I didn't particularly care for Lovecraft's roundabout way of telling them. Don't get me wrong ~ I love horror ~ but I just didn't care for this.

Lynn Lorenz Oh My God.
I read like everything Lovecraft wrote when I was in high school. He was my first taste of horror, followed closely by Stephen King. I still have all my paperbacks of his books.
