I LIKED this book. It took me a while to get into. I was taken aback that the main character was only eleven. She kind of seemed like a middle aged English man to me at times, but the story was oh so clever which I LOVE. I love how the book matches the title that if you continue reading there really will be some sweetness at the bottom. I did get who the killer was pretty early on, but there were enough twists and turns that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
