Ever since I saw this book in the bookstore, it's beautiful cover taunting me with a range of blues and whites, I have coveted this story. I'd heard good things about it and author Maggie Stiefvater's reputation for a good story is starting to take off.

So I finally downloaded it to my Kindle. Having to stop reading for things like going to work and eating were a major disappointment. This is a mind-consuming read. You can get completely wrapped up in the world and the characters. Their motivations make sense, and you can just fall in love with the idea of Sam and Grace being together.

The story is told in a fairly original way too, oscillating back and for from Sam or Grace's point of view, and each chapter introducing the time of year based on the temperature. I thought it was also a very nice new take on Werewolves, one that hasn't been done before.

Minus one star because the ending was more sudden than I'd have liked, and there are a few plot holes that grated at me.
