630 pgs. 2006. I went back to read this book, as I'd recently finished "The Broken Window," It pointed back to 'Cold Moon' in order to expand on the relationship between Amelia Sachs and Pam Willoughby. I enjoy the Lincoln Rhymes series for the intelligence, unpredictability, detail, and richness of characters. Can't help but get an image of Raymond Burr and "Ironsides" but I guess it doesn't really 'get in the way' of this story! I admit to having very little patience with the scary and irritating radical fundamentalists! Not to mention, the tag-along, and brain-dead-but-deadly helper of the truly bad guy, "The Watchmaker." I thought the 'core plot' was rather cleverly disguised and I found the book very enjoyable.
