I have to admit that I love novels that take place in Los Angeles, so I can say "I know where that is!" In a way, it makes it more real for me.

This story starts with a "locked room" type of mystery. It appears to be an open and shut case, but it quickly unravels. The case appears to be related to an old case that Elvis had solved. With old demons haunting him, Elvis has to fight to try and solve the mystery that involves politicians and the Los Angeles City government.

It's a good, fast and gritty ride.
