Another dystopia book for teens. Very good. Not original but well done. Lots of similarities with Stephen King's "The Long Walk" and "The Running Man" but refreshingly has a female lead character. You don't learn too much about the other characters since everything is from the protagonist's viewpoint. The pace was very good and had me constantly coming back for more. The ending has me perplexed. It could have been written as a stand alone title with minimal rewriting at the end and still left room for a sequel. But the author leaves it at a very strange place and then says "End of Book One."
