liked it

I was very impressed with the way the author maintained and developed the characters throughout the novel. Burma Jones was particularly impressive as a character who was believable and funny without being offensive. I also enjoyed the different points of view contributing to the narrative and story-line. However, there were large chunks - mainly of Ignatius' writings - that I found nearly impossible to read.

In short, I appreciated it as a very masterfully written work that was not quite as enjoyable to read as I had hoped.
