I haven't read Coraline yet, so I hadn't had any experience with Neil Gaiman's style of children's book. I suppose that that might be unfair, and that each book, no matter what age group it's targeted at, has its own style. Anyway, we follow Bod (short for Nobody, Nobody Owens) through his life growing up around those that no longer have theirs. It was a good read, and the book came full-circle in a very pleasing way. I'd definitely recommend this to pre-teens.]]>
