Read in December, 2004, read count: 1

My husband saw an interview with Nelson DeMille and mentioned to me that he had done a lot of research into the crash of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island in 1996 for his book, Night Fall. Knowing this makes the book even more disturbing and a more powerful story, a fictionalized what could have happened that builds in suspense until it is almost painful to read the last few chapters, ...but you will be glad you did and will immediately look for the next book by this amazing author. highly recommend. 9+ of 10.
John Corey and Kate Mayfield investigate the closed case after being advised by their superiors in the FBI to stay away from the case. The wisecracking, irreverant Corey never walked away from a challenge, especially one that seems to indicate there was something more there after all.
