Surprisingly, you don't have to be die-hard baseball fan to appreciate this book. It's definitely preferable if you have some baseball knowledge and enjoy sports as a whole. Takes an analytical view of what makes a baseball team great and analyzes the important baseball statistics that differentiate ok players from good ones. Chronicles the 2000-era Oakland A's and despite their bottom-basement salary was able to go deep into the playoffs against teams with much larger salaries. Good read if you: like sports, like numbers, like baseball, and like the A's. Otherwise... mmmm.. yeah.
