Three centuries ago, a society of persecuted British refugees created a homeland inside of a Greenland glacier called Gracehope. Now the twin threats of global warming and overpopulation have created a schism on whether it's safe to head to the surface. The story is told from the perspective of two main characters, Peter, an NYC kid whose father is studying the glaciers of Greenland, and Thea, who is the end of the line in Gracehope's matrilineal society. The storytelling was pretty solid and engaging. Yes, give it to "City of Ember" fans.
