anyone who has a daughter, girls everywhere
This book is one of the most poignant, life-affirming stories about the power of love that I have ever read. Guys, don't let the girl-title fool you. When I taught fifth-grade, my boy students LOVED this book as well!
As a child reading this book, I wanted to be Anne. As an adult when I read this book, I'm so thankful that I can look through her eyes once more to see the world differently. One of my favorite books of all time! Anne of Avonlea and Anne of the Island are also very, very good.
