Mixed feelings on this one. I read it because I'd heard that it made a compelling argument for veganism -- and it does. I'm SURE that if I hadn't gone into this as a vegetarian, I would have come out of it one, and while I'm not ready to give up cheese, I think I've finally been talked out of asparthame and into organic produce. So sure, as far as making healthier choices goes, this was a worthwhile read for me.

But I found a lot of the parts of the book that focused on getting skinny pretty repellent and while, as a rule, I don't consider myself to be especially sensitive to rude language, the authors really ARE bitches. I can't think of another time I've been called "shithead" by a BOOK. Big turnoff for me.

Some good information, but poor presentation altogether.
