really liked it

Back on firmer footing for the period mystery. Winspear's Maise Dobbs stories have yet to disappoint. This story deals with the psychological fall out of the Great War as Maise investigates a series of terrorist threats on London.

The description, period feel, and pacing are so well balanced that I finished the book in one sitting.
