Now that the girls have so much free time, they use it to shop ‘til they drop and just relax except for Kristen and Claire who must also complete schoolwork. Then, something exciting comes up. Dylan’s mom, Merri Lee Marvil, hosts the most popular morning talk show and gets two in demand guests, teen stars Abby and Hadley. She even invites the Pretty Committee to hang out back stage with the stars and watch the show. Dylan confirms to the P.C. for gossip points that Gabor, Hadley’s boyfriend, did cheat with Abby, which the entire Daily Grind set hears since the Daily Grind co host’s mic was on while she was in the bathroom, causing an uproar between the two teen starlets that ends with Hadley quitting the movie she was suppose to feature in with Abby, Dial L for Loser. The movie’s director is so furious he breaks his phone and borrows Massie’s. On an interview he says he is threw with high strung drama queens and would like to audition the phone’s owner and her friends with the exception of Dylan (Kristen is so grounded it’s out of question) for letting the secret out. Alicia, Massie, and Claire fly out to Hollywood to audition for the role of the main character, the loser turned beauty Mollie. Claire gets the role and gets a real taste of the life of a star, but her relationship with Alicia and Massie isn’t so great. They are envious of Claire even though they get to report on the set of the movie for the Daily Grind. The girls constantly are seeking revenge, a war has sprung between them as they go back and forth humiliating and showing up one another. Massie evens sends Cam a pick of her kissing her co star during rehearsal causing him to think she cheated on him. After the movie, Claire learns that Abby was never really her friend and the girls make up with another, too. They are welcomed home with a party, and thanks to Massie things are cleared up between Claire and Cam. Kristen’s essay on the Meaning Life also gets the PC accepted back in OCD. Suddenly, Claire receives a call from a talent agent who wants her to move to LA and start her career as an actress. Will she leave Westchester, the Pretty Committee, Layne, Cam, her new life for her dream life of doing what she loves, acting?

I thought it was an unexpected twist to the tale to have them audition for a movie and live the life in Hollywood instead of spending their time bored in Westchester. The characters of the teen celebrities were very fun and original. It was a predictable ending, but I liked it anyway since all conflict was resolved.
