I had read about half a dozen five star reviews for Jen Lancaster's new book _Pretty in Plaid_ and was eager to read it. The wait list at the library is pretty darn long, so I checked out the 2 of her other books that were at the library right then, this one and _Such a Pretty Fat_. I don't think I'll wait for _Pretty in Plaid_ - she is kind of funny, but with a very sarcastic, mean bite. And there is swearing. Like every 3 words. I like the style of her writing, but minus the mean (which she's proud of), sarcasm and cussing.
