Teton County Library Call No: 303.4 DIAMOND
Adam's Rating: 5 Stars

One of the great questions of mankind is How did we get to where we are now? From a broad historical perspective, Diamond takes this question on with an ongoing aim to conflate the argument that some societies are "successful" because they are inherently more intelligent. This was a gratifying read because it looks at man's footprint on all continents, instead of the typical Western European re-cap. Diamond has helped me in broadening my understanding of human societies and what makes us thrive. Well deserving of the Pulitzer!
