This is a gorgeous, haunting book that tackles infertility in a sensitive, thoughtful manner. Her use of imagery is particularly good here. In "Good Grief," it was all about characterization. Here, she's taken her craft in a different direction, and it's the imagery that dominants. She has a powerful voice, and I'm eager to see what she comes up with next.
