I love Gillian Flynn's writing. I got sucked into this book immediately. It's the story of the Day family told in both past and present. Most of the family was murdered in 1985, leaving one brother and one sister alive. Ben gets thrown in jail and Libby is left to her own devices. As time goes on, Libby cautiously delves into her past to determine what really happened the night of the murders.
Sounds formulaic, but it is absolutely not. Flynn's writing is amazing and the characters are so real. Anyone who likes a thriller should read this book.
