it was amazing

Fuckin' OBVS.

I loved every bloody second of this book (so much that I slowed down toward the end, to SAVOR it, which is usually indicative that I am in LOVE with a book and I don't yet realize it) except the grammar essay, which was kind of snooz-y, but only because, I dunno, linguistics is too heady for me?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: DFW has spoiled me for any other nonfiction ever for the rest of my life the end.

Aran I just got mine through inter-library loan (sweeeeeet!). I haven't finished it yet, but... I heart it. Like, at the end of "Some Remarks on Kafka's Funniness" where he's like "and this deeply moving comment about the soul and the human struggle". Just, totally nonchalant like...
