Really weird existentianolism....interesting ro read...but I don't necessarily agree with the philosophy of it.

I remember when I first read it, it really freaked me out. Probably because I read it at 2 in the morning. I think what scared me is the fact that he is so disconected. I feel in the way that it can happen to just about anybody, but at the same time it is very scary, to get to that point, and not care anymore, and not identify in any way with other human beings. So I think that aspect of the book is extremely disturbing. I admit that I don't understand it fully, but maybe that is why I liked this book, I come back and think of it sometimes...
