Excellent book on the exploration on lonliness, true contentment, and the (literal) confrontation of ones past and fears. Stephen King at his best, a change from his more recent works. Many of the scenes presented in the main character's paintings create an unsettling mood, which is reflected perfectly in the horror of the last act, the exploration on the lost end of the Key. Truly macabre!
