I enjoyed this book even more than Watchmen. The drawings were more simple, but they conveyed emotion more clearly. The plain black-and-white appealed to me, maybe because I prefer prose to drawings. I felt less distracted.

This is another book that could use a second reading because I know so little about Iran and its history, there were several times that I found myself confused about the politics.
