This book and I just weren't meant to be together. It was informative and educational, but it was just too formulaic for me. Yes, yes, I know! It is meant as a guide to plot formulas! That's why I say that we just didn't mesh: I just couldn't love the approach to this book, even though I knew what to expect.

Eileen Do you like this one? I found it hard to get through.

Juliana I bought this one on Friday and have only gotten through the first chapter and a half. I'm enjoying it the way I enjoy a textbook: as a way to gain information and think about things from an analytical point of view. It doesn't encourage creativity too much, but that's okay. I was just looking for something informational to draw on in the future. So far, so good. It's meeting my expectations and needs!
