I read this book when it was initially published in paperback. I have not reread it since that time. I always felt the ending a little weak for this story. No fault of the author, she simply relates what is ultimately a bizarre coincidence regarding her innocent involvement with Ted Bundy, while she was writing about the serial murders he was committing! It can't be helped that the eventual trial, sentence and execution feel like somewhat of a letdown in the end.
