Ben He was my honors examiner in epistemology when I was at Swarthmore (and he at Delaware). I only remember one question from the oral exam (which I couldn't really answer): why do many people think that Quine, despite his avowed coherentism, is nevertheless a foundationalist?

Nat People think Quine is a foundationalist?

This was a nice, short, clear dissertation. I got what I needed out of it.
