So, let me explain the absence of a star. :) This mystery was one of my favorites-- I loved the intrigue and the way it was set up. The telepathic connection that Byrony had (sounds so corny if you don't read the book, but it was EXTREMELY well done and believable!) was so good.... the deep love it portrayed. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole mystery of it. Her cousins, Emory and James, were also likable in their own scary sense, and in the middle of the book I had NO idea what was going to happen, which is always a good sign!

My only disclaimer to this book? It was probably the most romantic of all of hers. I mean, the love story was most intense and passionate I think. It wasn't just a two page coming-together passion, either. So, some of the content was verging on questionable for me.

Overall, though, I LOVED this Mary Stewart book! So good!!!!
