really liked it

Understanding how the soft imperialism of U.S. policy is beginning to show our weaknesses as a leading nation in the world. What is intriguing about this book is that it was written by a conservative retired U.S. Army colonel, but has many liberal viewpoints, and arguments that make sense. Bacevich really makes sense of what the U.S. military and policy makers are doing, and how their actions create our own demise.
