It's Jan 1929--high summer in Melbourne Australia and Phryne is hot and cranky. And she's been hired to solve two different mysteries almost simultaneously. One is the death of a young antiques dealer--police say suicide, Mom says 'not my boy'. Can Phryne figure this one out? The other involves an inheritance case and a long lost illegitimate child. Can Phryne find the child after all these years?

Well, the answer is yes, of course, to both. But the fun is in watching her do it. Our cast of regulars are on hand to give her a hand and all are in fine form.
Great fun.
