I have been ambivalent about this series, but I'm won over and just have to admit I love it! It's ridiculous, it's over-the-top, it's about vampires and there's lots of murder and sex. It appeals to the basest of emotions, but despite that and the occasionally grammatical errors, it's pretty well-written!

The characters are better developed than I assume most are in romance/fantasy/mystery. There are many minor details added that just give her writing an extra something. Either way, I'm hooked!

This one was fun. I enjoyed the soap opera-like story line of Eric losing his memory.
