The foundational text for Bandung-era liberation movements, this book fuses psychoanalysis, Marxist theory, existentialism and race theory together into the idea of "Epidermilization." First read W. E. B. Du Bois's Souls of Black Folk . Then read this book in tandem with Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man .
