I found this book to be an acceptable sort of read but didn't think it was worthy of the praise it received. Frankie was a believable girl and her escapades were interesting, but I just did not care enough about any of the characters to make it a prize winner for me.

I agree with you -- I enjoyed the book, but felt like the author had done research on secret societies and had to find a story to show off her findings.
