it was amazing
bookshelves: mysteries, religion, history, all-time-favorites

By the time I'd finished this book, I was in a simultaneous shock and bliss. It shocked me that a book could move me so profoundly and make me think so deeply, and I was blissfully happy that a book could do those things to me. Although it is one of my all time favorites, I always hesitate to re-read it because I worry someday I'll find it less satisfying. If that makes any sense at all.
