I enjoyed this while I was reading it, and then a few days later, I'd forgotten half the details...it's entertaining, but less than gripping. From a book titled "Summer Reading," I'm not sure why I expected anything else. The book is reasonably well written, and it gets off to a promising start, but the characters are for the most part thinly developed and some of the key plot points feel forced (including the who-could-believe-this? happy ending). Take it to the beach, enjoy with a few umbrella drinks, and leave it at that.
