This book focused solely on his father, as the title states.

It moved fairly quickly, though I found there wasn't really very much insight into his father. I suppose that was the point, though... that he never really knew the man, only how he felt about him.

I'll have to pick up a couple of his other books to fill in the blanks between this and Running with Scissors -- ie: his book about his work life.
