Ghost World
by Daniel Clowes
by Daniel Clowes
Definitely captures the clean, clinical anomie of suburban life. I didn't like it at first, but by the end I have to admit I found it rather touching in an understated kind of way. It captures the longing, the stasis and the frustration of this environment very well, reminds me an awful lot of so many people I knew growing up.
