Truly excellent; my favorite Baldacci novel. Below is a breakdown of my rating:

Enjoyability: 5
Re-Readability: 4.5
Character Development: 4.5
Complexity: 4
Writing Style: 4.5
Believability: 4
Overall: 4.42

First, let me start by saying that I read this book about four months prior to writing this review, so it may not be as detailed as my more recent reviews; when I reread the book, I will update where necessary.

This book is the third in the Camel club series and definitely my favorite. It picks up right where The Collectors left off. This is Baldacci at his best; there are a wide array of characters who are original and not bland/predictable, the story is compelling, there is excellent insight given into the characters, especially the new ones that the reader is not as familiar with from the previous novels, it is fast-paced, and it is reasonably believable. The big area that caused this book not to get a slightly higher rating which would have resulted in 5 stars is complexity; there weren’t any major shockers for me in this book.

In conclusion, this is a terrific story and well worth the read. However, be sure to have read the first two books in the Camel Club series first.
