I really enjoy these Preston/Child books. When I'm travelling (which is a LOT!) and I need a good engrossing suspense thriller, these guys never let me down. One of the things I especially like is that their books are 'horror-oriented,' but not really. There's just the right touch of it and it's blended in so well with the mystery aspects of the story.
I was a little wary about this one being too graphic, considering the premise. But no, it was perfect. I think 'Cabinet of Curiosities' is one of their best so far.
