WOW! A book every American must read!! Luttrell writes in a conversational tone- and I felt as if I were in his living room listening to him retell his remarkable story. If this were fiction I would have said it is completely unbelievable. It unnerves me that there are soo many pop culture icons who are revered/worshipped. It should be men like Marcus Luttrell on posters in teenagers rooms. We should be listening to his opinions on government, not Tom Cruise. And believe me, Luttrell does not hold back his opinions in this book. In the beginning, I thought he was a little arrogant. And then I got it. I couldn't put the book down during the second half and I shed MANY tears. God Bless our service men and women!!
