it was amazing

I read this printed mind-crack (as in "addictive stimulant") in a sleep-depriving three-night sprint. Couldn't put it down. Ridiculously vivid, real, gripping, and of course, enlightening in a disturbing way (it's McCarthy, after all). If you want a white-knuckled ride, this is it.
