liked it
bookshelves: middle-grade

Jamie Dexter, daughter of the Colonel, longs to go to the Vietnam war but isn't old enough. After her brother goes and sends back pictures, she begins the question her enthusiasm. This is a nice book, but it wasn't a thrilling page-turner for me. I also thought it ended a bit suddenly.
