This is a solid 5 stars. Not quite 6 stars, but those are for the extra amazing books. I do recommend this book.
I heard about it via various blogs and finally decided I needed to read it. I can't get Hubby to read any UF/PR (from now on, I'm just going to call it paranormal fantasy. Soon it will be its own genre, rather than a sub-genre) and he's into music, so I figured the radio/music angle of the book would interest him. He still hasn't read it.
One thing I liked was Ciara has no supernatural powers. I'm getting tired of supernatural chicks in leather who kick ass (though that doesn't mean I'm not counting the days until LKH's Skin Trade is out, even if it centers around Edward and not my beloved Jean-Claude). Ciara is just the right amount of sass. She is smart and creative.
The other thing that was great was Ciara's relationship with her father. I'm not going to get spoilery, so I'll just leave it at that.
