really liked it
bookshelves: childrens, family, little-house, i-own-this, 1800s, america, pioneers, own-highbury
Read in January, 1993

Much more interesting than The First Four Years, thankfully! Loved it, although it of course reads much more like adult non-fiction than the rest of the series, being mostly just Laura's bare-bones diary. There's lots of accounts of how much land/wheat/grain/etc cost.
